Michael Sander BSc
– Managing Director
Michael left Brunel University with a BSc in Product Design in 2006 and since then he has worked extensively in the field of tree and vegetation management.
As the Managing Director of ground maintenance experts, S.H. Goss, he has secured and managed contracts with some of the largest Utilities and Government Agencies such as National Grid, Thames Water, Environment Agency, Commonwealth War Grave Commission and the Forestry Commission.
His technical ability and his problem-solving skills led him to provide innovative solutions for London Underground and various local authorities and government agencies.
He is passionate about creating new and efficient methods to control and maintain vegetation. This includes ArborFlight, which has been set up by Michael to provide a complete tree and vegetation management company. This includes arranging either ground or airborne surveys, data analysis and management, providing recommendations and carrying out any necessary remedial works.

Quentin Nicholls DMS, CEnv, F.Arbor.A

Quentin is a Fellow and former Chairman of the Arboricultural Association. He is also a Chartered Environmentalist and has been in the Arboricultural industry for over 40 years, working with Local Authorities and Blue Chip clients worldwide, providing expert Arboricultural Consultancy and innovative software solutions (Arbortrack) for Tree & Vegetation managers. Solutions have been provided throughout the world with Clients spread throughout the UK including The Royal Parks, The City of London, London Underground and numerous Local Authorities. Worldwide Clients spread from Hawaii to Hong Kong and include Organisation’s in Oslo, Gothenburg, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Associate Professor Paul Barber PhD, BSc
– Director of Technology and Innovation
Paul has more than 20 year’s experience as a scientist, with an emphasis on the diagnosis, monitoring and sustainable management of urban, plantation and native vegetation. Paul provides expert advice in forest health management to the United Nations and national governments successfully completing projects on most continents. Paul was recently appointed by the Hong Kong government to the Urban Forestry Advisory Panel and recognized as one of Australia’s top 20 professionals in Urban Greening. Paul is also Adjunct Associate Professor at Murdoch University in Australia where he mentors MSc and PhD students from Australia, Asia and the Middle East conducting innovative research in remote sensing and vegetation health management
